Why the scores can be trusted

Every product in a guide is recorded from its seller's published listing in one fixed format: capacity, materials, dimensions, warranty, and what the listing leaves out. Products are scored out of ten on the attributes that change daily use in that category. Where we have not handled a product ourselves the guide says so, and a missing figure counts against a product rather than being guessed.

Commissions from retailer links pay for the site. They never move a product up a table, prices are never shown, and each guide carries the date it was last revised. The full method.
